KAZBAH Miranda is opening its doors to bring fresh flavours and unusual breakfast options to Sutherland Shire.
The restaurant will be part of the new restaurant precinct at Westfield Miranda shopping centre.
Owner Zahi Azzi said he was excited to bring his unique take on a blend of cuisines to the region.
Kazbah is renowned for its fusion of flavours including Middle Eastern, Turkish, Persian, Mediterranean and Moroccan, and North African traditional dishes with French haute cuisine techniques using modern Australian ingredients.
"There isn't anything like us this side of the city," Mr Azzi said.
"We liked the look of the shopping centre, and what they're doing with the restaurant precinct is very exciting so we jumped at the opportunity.
"Our breakfast is unique and it's what we're famous for."
On the breakfast menu is a signature dish — the breakfast tagine which is made from a mixture of lamb mince with sucuk, spinach, roast capsicum, roast tomato, caramelised onion, feta and eggs.
The vegetarian tagine is made from roast pumpkin, spinach, caramelised onion, roast tomato, roast capsicum, feta and eggs.
Another signature breakfast dish is the sweet couscous served with mixed nuts, dried fruits, stewed rhubarb and cardamom milk.
Mr Azzi said people often chose the breakfast banquet when dining with friends and family.
The Miranda venue will be the fourth offering from Kazbah Group, headed by Mr Azzi.
The family business opened its trademark restaurant in 1998 — Kazbah on Darling at Balmain.
