Re "Supermarket plan to panel" (Leader, December 2). Who in their right mind would allow a supermarket to be built at Barden Ridge?
You have two schools and a preschool, baseball and touch footy oval next door so what sort of danger would the children be in with all the extra traffic including trucks and delivery vans.
At school time the traffic here is shocking and the roads were not designed for the volumes that would be generated by this proposal.
If west Menai goes ahead, build it out there where it can be included in the future planning and not disrupt residents and place our children in danger.
The safety of our children must come first — not the demands of Woolworths.
