The day will feature the Chantoozies, the Col Hardy Band, String Angels, Caringbah High Jazz Combo, the Phonetics Trio, Fripps and Fripps, Uncle Jed and the Royal Australian Navy Band. MC will be Daryl Brohman from Nine's The Footy Show.
In honour of the approaching centenary of the Anzac landing at Gallipoli, The Whitlams will be dedicating one of their songs, Keep the Light On to Australian armed forces personnel, past and present — those who have sacrificed their lives, those who have returned, and their families.
People will be asked to hold up their candles during The Whitlams' performance of Keep the Light On.
While the song is performed, images of Australian service personnel past and present supplied by Cronulla War Widows Guild will be shown on the screen behind the stage.
The Whitlams lead singer Tim Freedman said Keep the Light On was written about 10 years and was about an "errant friend, a charming wastrel".
Legacy asked if it could use it to highlight its work and philosophy.
"I suppose the reason Legacy thought the song was right is that it is about lighting a candle," Freedman said.
"Keeping a light on is the central symbol of Legacy."
