Two men from St George have been charged with assault over a Darling Harbour incident on Sunday.
Police said a Monterey man and a Roselands man, both 18, verbally harassed a group leaving a Cockle Bay nightclub at 2am.
Two men from the group — one 22, the other 18 — confronted the St George men and both groups eventually walked away.
The two St George men assaulted the two men from the group a short time later.
The group man, 22, became unconscious and the group man, 18, and a woman, 18, had minor injuries.
Police arrested the two St George men and took them to Surry Hills police station.
The Roselands man was charged with assault occasioning grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and common assault.
He was refused bail to appear today in Central Court.
The Monterey man, 18, was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for a cut to his eye before being charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and two counts of common assault.
He has been granted conditional bail to appear in Downing Centre Court on March 25.
