ENDEAVOUR Sports High School at Caringbah is among 60 secondary schools in the state promised a major upgrade under the Coalition's electricity privatisation plan.
No other Sutherland Shire schools are on the list for the $148 million building program, released by Education Minister Adrian Piccoli.
Three St George schools were included.
They are Blakehurst High School, Beverly Hills Girls High School and Kingsgrove North High School, and were included in the $148 million secondary school building program, announced by Mr Piccoli.
He promoted the plan during a visit to Endeavour Sports High School, but no details of the proposed works were revealed.
"All children, no matter what school they attend, deserve a great education in a well-equipped school with up-to-date facilities," Mr Piccoli said in a statement.
"At Endeavour Sports High School the Baird government will improve the school's amenity and enhance the learning experience for students.
"We know that a school's appearance is important in how it is perceived by the community.
"This funding will go a long way to upgrading those schools that need it most."
In the past four years, Mr Piccoli said, public schools in the Miranda electorate had benefited from $22.4 million in upgrades and maintenance.
