Fix Helensburgh station before creating more traffic on the roads

I'm bewildered.

When people are complaining about traffic congestion, why do they want hundreds of schoolchildren transported in multiple buses to/from Helensburgh (Leader, March 10), when a single train can do the job more efficiently?

If there are "dangers" on station platforms, address those.
