Scouts own hall
How can this hall be leased when it was owned by 1st Oatley Scout Group who built the White Hall.
My mother signed the first cheque and the last cheque of the loan to the bank as 1st Oatley Scout Group's treasurer. Yes, the land was donated by the council back in those days, but the hall itself was owned by the 1st Oatley Scout Group, effective the late 1970s.
How did the council gain control of the building?
Also where is 1st Oatley Scout Group's Queen's Scout honour board, which my family donated?
