As everyone is gearing up for a three-day long weekend, weather forecasters have predicted a less than sunny Easter.
Weatherzone meteorologist Rob Sharpe said holidaymakers should factor in some wet weather during the break.
"We will see the showers returning again on Friday, Saturday and probably Sunday as well in the Sydney area," Mr Sharpe said.
"In fact much of eastern and southern NSW is going to be seeing those showers and also thunderstorms inland due to a low pressure trough that's likely to stall over the state."
A top of 25 degrees and showers is forecast in Sydney on Good Friday, and 26 degrees and showers on both Saturday and Easter Sunday.
