CRONULLA Sharks coach Shane Flanagan has made several changes for the team to meet Sydney Roosters at 4pm on Easter Sunday at Allianz Stadium.
Former Dragons utility player Jack Bird, 20, who made his NRL debut off the bench in the heartbreaking loss against the Gold Coast Titans on Saturday night, will start at five-eighth.
The Sharks are winless so far. Valentine Holmes shifts from the wing to fullback and Michael Gordon goes to the right wing.
Big prop Andrew Fifita moves to the interchange bench.
Matt Prior starts in the front row.
In round 17 last season, the Sharks staged a remarkable comeback, although they were missing five top players including skipper Paul Gallen.
They defeated the Roosters 30-28 at Allianz Stadium after being behind 24-6 at half-time.
