TWO friends from the same school who share a similar passion for social change will take part in a youth leadership program.

St George Girls High student Carolyn Tran of Carlton and her classmate Janis Wu will join other young Australians in this year's YMCA Youth Parliament.
The program encourages youth to have a say in their field of interest and share it with the nation's leaders.
The year 12 students are part of the law and legal reform committee. Another student from the school, Rachael Lee, is part of the women's affairs committee.
"We are interested in criminal justice, and ensuring the standards of justice are upheld," Carolyn said.
