Life your game, council
Living near Beverley Golf Course I often walk to Kogarah station.
At 70, it physically does me good but saddens my heart. The footpaths I take are often only on one side of the roadway and it's tricky negotiating dangerously cracked concrete driveway crossovers and broken slabs. Many gutters and drains are full of debris which remain so for weeks. Verges are unmown, edges are overgrown.
With Kogarah Council's statistics for a growing population of 17,450 by 2031 it's dispiriting to imagine the state of our city unless the council lifts its game to improve the amenity of Kogarah city.
