St George Illawarra Dragons on Thursday extended the contact of British front rower Mike Cooper for another two years.
The former Warrington forward joined the Dragons in 2013 and to date has played 32 NRL games.
Cooper, 26, said he's thrilled to extend his contract which keeps him at the club until the end of 2017.
"It was a very easy decision for me to make in regards to extending my stay here with the Dragons,” Cooper said.
''I didn't put much pressure on myself when I first came out here, I just wanted to make the starting 17 and play NRL and things have gone from there.
"The players and the coaching staff are first class and I think everyone is getting the best out of me, my game is developing here and I just really want to be a part of the future here at the Dragons."
In other news, prop Leeson Ah Mau has signed a new three-year deal, keeping him at the Dragons until the end of 2018.
''I am really happy to be able to continue representing the Club for at least another three years,” Ah Mau said.
