A woman who pleaded guilty to hitting and killing schoolgirl Aneri Patel last September at Kogarah will be sentenced on October 1 at Sydney Downing Centre.
Police allege that Puipuimaota Galuvao, then 26, of Como, was unlicensed when she lost control of a Mitsubishi Challenger 4WD which mounted the Railway Parade footpath, hit Ms Patel at a bus stop and injured two people inside O’Reilly & Daly Chemist.
Ms Galuvao was charged with various offences including dangerous driving occasioning death and driving without a licence.
She pleaded guilty to two charges — dangerous driving occasioning death and dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm — when she appeared in Downing Centre Court on Tuesday, May 19.
During a court appearance on May 29 a sentence date was set for October 1 at the Sydney Downing Centre.
