HAVING lived in St George his whole life, Ruben Hadges is now performing the role of Romeo in the Shopfront Theatre's production of Romeo and Juliet.

Hadges has performed in many shows including the Wizard of Oz as the scarecrow, West Side Story in the ensemble, and in the title role of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
He has performed with a musical group in theme parks in Florida and Los Angeles.
Hadges' aim is to graduate from NIDA with a film and television acting degree and to go on to Hollywood.
In between acting, singing and dancing he squeezes in reading, gymnastics, learning French, playing the violin and the piano. He is at TAFE studying fashion illustration.
The co-founder of Shopfront, Dr Errol Bray, is directing the production with Kirsty Jordan, a Shopfront Kid of the 1980s.
