The 29-year-old from Miranda became only the second player to play 100 games for the Swifts last season as she led her team to the ANZ Championship decider.
The Swifts captain was named in the ANZ Championship All-Star team for 2015.
Green said she could not wait to run out for the Swifts again next season.
‘‘This club means so much to me and truly is my second family,” she said.
“It’s fantastic we’ve been able to retain the core of our 2015 roster and those returning will use the hurt of last season’s grand final defeat as added motivation to achieve success next year.
“The club has recruited some exceptional emerging talent and I’m excited to be working with them at the start of their elite netball careers and, hopefully, together we can create history in 2016.’’
Green, who played her junior netball at Gymea, will be part of the Australian Diamonds team at the Netball World Cup in Sydney next month.
