A second person has been charged over a Wolli Creek shooting incident in June.
St George police were called to the intersection of Magdalene Terrace and Mount Olympus Boulevard at 12.30am on Monday, June 29.
A witness told officers that he saw two people confront another man and took a shot at him.
The pair fled in a grey-coloured BMW; the man was not injured.
Officers, after an investigation, arrested a man, 24, at 11.30pm on Monday, August 4, in Market Street, Sydney.
They found methyl-amphetamine and a loaded .22 calibre firearm.
The man was charged at Sydney city police station with discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possessing a loaded firearm, possessing an unregistered prohibited firearm, supplying greater than the indictable quantity of a prohibited drug and driving while disqualified.
He has been refused bail to appear in Central Court today, August 4.
He is the second person to be charged over the shooting after a Gymea woman, 25, was charged on Friday July 31.
