Why is it necessary to attach new bright yellow clearway signs on "No Stopping signs" all along the roadway? Wouldn't "no stopping" mean no "stopping" any time?
I can only think that the contractors putting up the signs get paid per sign, a bit like the $100 quoted to paint a white line on the road to delineate parking spots in Cronulla.
One blessing I suppose, is that the new clearway signs are only a garish yellow, and not hi-vis green.
