THE Gazing Through the Lens photographic exhibition by Caringbah photographer Coralie Burns will open in the Cronulla Central Gallery near Cronulla Library on Friday, September 4.
Entry to the gallery is free and the photos are available to purchase, with the gallery open from 7am to 9pm daily.
Burns said the exhibition showcased the beauty of Sutherland Shire.
"I've turned my ideas and inspirations into art, inspired by nature's backyard that is on our doorstep, waiting to be discovered," she said.
Burns previously exhibited her work in Kogarah in June.
She is never far from the water, as she is also an Ashfield Council lifeguard at the neighbourhood aquatic centre.
"I have a passion though for the ocean," she said.
"I love snapping some of the local treasures with my camera."
The exhibition closes on November 30.
