St George police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a serious assault at Brighton-le-Sands on Saturday, August 22.
A man, 24, was walking along Bay Street with his girlfriend at 6.15pm when a car with four men inside drove past.
An argument began between the two groups before all men got out of the car and assaulted the man.
They drove from the scene, possibly down England Street.
The victim was taken to St George Hospital and underwent for surgery for a broken jaw.
St George are calling for anyone who may have seen the attack to come forward.
The first offender is described as being of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean appearance, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, 175 tall with an average build and a thick black beard.
He was wearing dark tracksuit pants and a baseball cap at the time.
The second offender is described as being of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean appearance, aged 17-20 and 165cm tall.
He had a black ponytail and the bottom half of his head shaved.
The other two men are also described as being of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean appearance.
One aged in his early 20s with short dark hair and the other aged 17-19 with a thin build.
The car they were in is possibly a white 1995 Holden Commodore sedan.
