Firefighters extinguished a boat fire at Lilli Pilli Friday afternoon.
Four Fire and Rescue NSW crews were called to Gannons Bay off Boomerang Avenue just after 1pm.
The blaze was put out by 3pm.
A Fire and Rescue NSW spokeswoman said the eight-metre vessel was completely destroyed with crews now working to salvage the wreckage.
The boat was found in shallow water with buoys put in place to contain excess fuel.

The fire has caused visible smoke across the area.
