ST George scored a convincing 148-run victory over Western Suburbs in first grade cricket on Saturday to continue their unbeaten start to the season.

Saints won all five grades against Wests to take an early lead in the club championship.
It was a good day for St George at Pratten Park, Ashfield, as they rolled the hosts for 171.
Andrew Walsh (4-26) and Nathan Ellis (4-50) took eight wickets between them for St George to help defend the Saints' impressive day one total.
St George had set Wests a target of 6 (dec)-319 after NSW batsman Kurtis Patterson top scored with 107 in the first innings.
The result leaves St George in equal first place on 18 points alongside Bankstown and Sydney.

St George advanced to the Twenty20 Cup semi-finals with a comfortable five-wicket win over Mosman on Sunday.
Stewart McCabe top scored for St George with 33 as they chased Mosman's 9-116 at Allan Border Oval, Mosman.
Ellis backed up his effort with the ball on Saturday taking 3-22.
St George, the defending T20 champions, will face Manly-Warringah in their semi-final at Manly Oval on Sunday.
It wasn't as good a weekend for Sutherland who suffered their first defeat of the season in first grade against Northern District.
Set a chase of 6-398 on day two, Sutherland were bowled out for 264 at Mark Taylor Oval, Waitara.
Shayne Smith's maiden first grade century wasn't enough for the Sharks as they went down by 134 runs.
Sutherland recovered after losing three early wickets to look in the game at 3-150.
But the dismissal of opener Chris Williams (70) after a 110-run stand with Smith saw Sutherland lose their last seven wickets for 113.
Smith made 118 before he was stumped by Andrew Harriott off the bowling of Joshua Poysden.
Sutherland claimed their first win in the Twenty20 Cup over Illawarra on Sunday but it wasn't enough for them to advance to the semi-finals.
Smith backed up his ton on Saturday with an unbeaten 80 as Sutherland made 7-163 from their 20 overs.
In reply, Illawarra were bundled out for 94 with Dan Fallins claiming 4-9.
