BANK of Queensland at Cronulla and Rockdale will have a Santa's Little Workshop throughout November so people can collect presents to support The Smith Family's Toy and Book Appeal.
The gifts will be given to disadvantaged children in Australia at Christmas.
Cronulla branch manager Steve Wiaczek encouraged people to donate a brand new gift — big or small.
"We rely heavily on our customers to support this appeal," he said.
"The Smith Family has indicated there is a particular need for gifts that target the nine-to-12 age group, including educational games, sports equipment or children's novels."
This year the Smith Family aims to deliver more than 43,500 new toys and 29,000 new books.
The bank aims to contribute $90,000 worth of toys and books to the appeal.
All gifts donated will be collected from branches, then stored by Decipha and delivered to The Smith Family distribution centres by Toll Priority, part of the Toll Group.
New, unwrapped gifts are encouraged.
The Smith Family's chief executive Lisa O'Brien said the ongoing appeal partnership with the bank was invaluable.
"At this time of the year, we at The Smith Family turn our attention from supporting the education of disadvantaged children, to making sure they can share in the simple joys of Christmas," Dr O'Brien said.
"With the help of BOQ and generous Australians, we will be able to deliver thousands of toy and book packs to families across the country throughout December."
