Driver escapes truck fire
A truck driver had a lucky escape today after his truck caught fire.

Emergency services were called at 7.40am to the Princes Highway at Heathcote.
It’s believed a fire started under the bonnet of the Freightliner prime mover while it was stopped at a red light.
The driver, 49, moved the truck to the side of the road and extinguished the flames before firefighters arrived.
The truck was then towed.
No one was injured.
