Oatley station took a big step forward on the weekend with new walkways installed.

Crowds of onlookers watched as a towering red crane was brought in to set in place the two newly constructed walkways.
The two walkways were lifted from the park beside the station over the course of the day.
River Road and the station were closed during the delicate operation which saw the walkways lifted 60 metres into the air.
