New takeaway restaurants: The old McDonald's premises in the Cronulla Cinemas building has been subdivided into two tenancies.
Souvlaki and dumplings will be on the menu at the former McDonald’s restaurant site in Cronulla mall.

In February, a development application (DA) for one half of the premises, which were subdivided into two tenancies, to become a dumplings restaurant.
It was quickly nicknamed McDumpling’s.
Now, Sutherland Shire Council has received a DA for the other half, at the Kingsway end, to become a takeaway Souvlaki Bar.
There is an existing Souvlaki Bar opposite the beach at Brighton-Le-Sands.
The DA for the Cronulla outlet said the proposed hours of operation were 6am to midnight daily.
The restaurants will write another another chapter in the rich history of the heritage-listed Cronulla Cinemas building.
