The event will be held on Saturday, August 13, and promises to offer a smorgasbord of bands and of course beer.
The Sydney leg follows Melbourne, which will held the week prior at two venues –The Tote and The Bendigo Hotel.
The 2015 event sold out in Melbourne and broke the record for the highest ever bar taking at The Tote and The Bendigo Hotels.
This is the first time for Sydney to play a part in the action and the organisers of hoping the success travels north.
It is hoped that following the recent changes to liquor licensing laws, which have seen a downturn in local shows, injects renewed life into Sydney.
The Brewtality lineup features more than 50 rock and metal acts spread across the two states.
The Sydney event is headed by Celibate Rifles and Toe To Toe, and also features sets by Darker Half, Heaven The Axe, Southest Desert Metal, Colossvs, Hostile Objects, Hobo Magic, The Devil Rides Out, The Charge, The Hidden Venture, Coffin Wolf, The Levitation Hex and Join The Amish among others.
