A free community celebration will be held at Scalabrini Village, Bexley, on September 30 to mark its foundation day.

Visitors will enjoy various forms of entertainment including a performance from the Scalabrini Sing Out Loud choir who will sing-a-long to Italian folk music.
Indulge in traditional Italian cuisine and delicious desserts and let the children enjoy a mobile petting zoo with farm animals.
To day will commemorate the 48th anniversary of Scalabrini Village and recognise the staff members and volunteers who dedicate so much of their time to the residents,.
Visitors can also participate in information sessions and tours of the village to give them the chance to connect with the residents and to find out more about what the village has to offer.
They will also walk away with a gift bag.
