A Woolooware High School student has won a place in the 2016/17 Australia Indonesia Association Scholarship Program.

Year 11 student Evie Knight was rewarded with the scholarship, supported by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and the Australia-Indonesia Institute.
It aims to increase the number of students studying an Asian language at high school.
Evie has been studying Bahasa Indonesia at a secondary level since year 7 and aims to continue studying the language at tertiary level in combination with a degree in law and international studies.
Elected vice-captain of her school in 2017, she will visit Yogyakarta for a two week intensive language program.
