Miranda police are reminding people to celebrate safely ahead of this weekends NRL grand final.
Extra police will be put on duty to ensure that people have a safe and secure environment to enjoy the game on Sunday.
The Miranda licensing accord is also reminding people of the ‘barr one barred from all’ policy that is in force throughout licensed premises in the Miranda local area command.
Already 19 people have received bans of up to five years from licensed premises for incidents that have included assault, drug dealing and offensive behaviour.
Miranda crime manager Detective Inspector Shane Woolbank said there will be extra police on duty on Sunday.
He said that local pubs and clubs would be busier, particularly the Sharks Leagues Club, and people should plan their night to avoid disappointment once the club reaches capacity.
