Brighton-Le-Sands man Patrick Medway has received the UN Medal for Peace during a ceremony on Monday.

Mr Medway was a member of the 1st Australian Police contingent which served with the United Nations forces in Cyprus in 1964-65.
He received the award from Member for Hughes Craig Kelly as part of the 2016 United Nations Day ceremony in Martin Place.
