The road is now open, but southbound traffic is still affected and there are heavy traffic conditions in that area.

Police are still investigating a truck crash in Mount Pleasant today.
About 8.30am emergency services were called to Mount Ousley Road, Mount Pleasant, after reports of a crash.
A truck had rolled on its side carrying building materials.
It is believed the truck had struck a tree.
No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
The driver, a 36-year-old man, was not injured.
Recovery of vehicle is underway.
Emergency services are in attendance, motorists are being advised to avoid the route.
Traffic is being diverted.
Significant delays are expected.

It has been reported today’s truck rollover caused a slow leak of diesel from the fuel tank.
Fire and Rescue NSW personnel have been working to clear the issue.

Mount Ousley Road is still closed in the southbound direction following a truck accident this morning, January 23.
Diversions are now in place, with light vehicles being directed through the Bulli Pass then the Princes Highway.
Heavy vehicles are being directed through Picton Road then the Hume Motorway.
There are heavy traffic conditions on Mount Ousley Road, motorists in the area should expect significant delays.

The incident occurred just past the New Mount Pleasant Road overpass around 8.30am.
Emergency services are in attendance, motorists are being advised to avoid the route.
