Michael was murdered in 1994 during a hold-up at Jannali Pizza Hut in 1994. He was aged 18.
His father, Ken Marslew founded Enough is Enough Anti-Violence Movement which provides services across NSW including support services, seminars and practical strategies to reduce the level of violence in society.

To celebrate Michael’s birthday this year, Enough is Enough is organising a flash mob.
The event will feature 40 professional dancers from the Dorothy Cowie School of Dancing.
At the end of the flash mob, staff volunteers and supporters will hold up signs that say “Happy Birthday Michael” and “Join the Michael Marslew Peace Foundation.”
