Sutherland have slipped to their third straight defeat to start the NPL 1 season, going down 4-3 to APIA Leichhardt at Seymour Shaw Park.
The Tigers led 4-0 with 20 minutes remaining at Miranda on Saturday night before two goals to Tomohiro Kajiyama and a Jeremy Cox strike gave Sutherland late hope.
The match was also veteran Sharks goalkeeper Nathan Denham’s 200th match.
The Sharks face fellow winless side Sydney United 58 at Edensor Park on Sunday.
