In 1770 Captain Cook discovered Kurnell, now Sydney is discovering Cook at Kurnell, the shire’s newest foodie hot spot.
Located at Silver Beach, minutes from Captain Cook’s landing place, this vintage airstream food van has been wowing locals and tourists, since opening its hatch.
“I think Kurnell is one of Sydney’s best-kept secrets,” owner Tanya Tozzi said.
“North-facing silver Beach looks back over the city skyline, the sands are soft and white, and the beaches are kid friendly.
“I wanted to create a casual space for the whole family, somewhere to be social, grab a good coffee or linger with friends over a leisurely lunch”
“The area offers so many activities,I wanted Cook to be part of that great day out."
With a menu developed by Studio Neon’s Richie Robinson , her quirky kiosk is licensed to chill, serving up a tasty helping of beach tucker, at this beachside locale.
Kick back with a Frosé or Aperol Spritz, burger or snag sanga in hand and watch the sunsets and sails over world famous Botany Bay.
Up-cycled rustic benches provide the perfect spot for a catch up in the communal beer garden.
This sleepy peninsula in the Shire offers activities for chill and thrill seekers alike; horse riding, windsurfing, fishing, skateboarding, diving, whale watching, 4-wheel drive park and when the swells up, surfing at legendary “Our’s” surf break.
Situated adjacent to an off leash dog beach, Cook at Kurnell is pet friendly. After running along the sands of Silver Beach you can shout your pooch a puppacino.
