Broken foot after fall
I had a fall at the Rockdale Post Office steps on Wednesday afternoon August 26.
I would like to give my appreciation to the many people who gave me assistance, particularly the lady who held my hand until the ambulance came.
It made me very proud to be a resident of Rockdale and the kindness of everyone.
I have a broken foot and torn cartilage in my knee and becoming more mobile everyday.
The cut on my nose has healed.
Many thanks to you all.
Susan Gough, Rockdale
P-Plates were ‘taken’
Thanks to the concerned person who left a note on my daughter’s car at Caringbah, thinking someone had taken her P-plates.
No need for concern – it was my younger daughter who parked the car for her older sister after borrowing the car for the day.
My younger daughter needed the plates to drive later so we took them off the car.

Help after car park fall
I would like to say a big thank you to the gentleman who assisted my grandson and myself after I tripped and fell in the car park of te McDonald’s restaurant in Heathcote on Sunday, July 30.
Unfortunately I did not get your name but your kindness was greatly appreciated.

Indeed a perfect stranger
I would like to day a big thank you to the perfect stranger who escorted me from Sutherland station to the Caringbah Medical Centre on July 27.
He was concerned for my welfare as I am an elderly lady and a bit frail.
He stayed with me until I was in the waiting room and even arranged for a taxi to take me home.
He was indeed a PERFECT stranger.
