A man, 62, was treated for burns after the granny flat in which he was living at Kogarah caught fire overnight.

Shortly before 11pm on Monday, emergency services were called to a home on Green Street where a granny flat at the rear of the premises was found to be well alight.
The occupant was outside the flat, attempting to put out the flames with a garden hose.
Fire & Rescue NSW officers extinguished the fire while the man was treated by paramedics for burns to his upper body.
He was taken to St George Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Police said the fire was not being treated as suspicious.
