Special education staff at Endeavour Sports High School had no trouble finding a name for a new minibus, donated by tennis identity and philanthropist Bill Gilmour.

The vehicle was dubbed Happy Gilmour after the 1996 sports comedy film starring Adam Sandler.
Mr Gilmour, a former world ranked player, Davis Cup referee and Grand Slam event supervisor, handed over the bus from Gilmour Tennis at Caringbah and Miranda to Endeavour Special Kids with a Disability.

President of the school-based charity, Helen Mabbutt, said there were 60 students in the unit, which was the largest in Sutherland Shire.
“The new bus will assist students access timely and affordable community participation, which enhances learning programs,” she said.
It’s the fourth minibus Mr Gilmour has donated to organisations in the shire. Others have been given to Civic Disability Services, Men of League and Sutherland Police Citizens Youth Club.
Mr Gilmour, who also donated $1.5 million to Sutherland Hospital in 2008, said, “The district's been very kind, and this is a little way to put something back.”
