Farmtruck and Azn from Discovery channel’s Street Outlaws are coming back to Australia for this year’s Summernats, but this time they’re not just along for the ride.
The dynamic duo will ship one of Farmtruck’s famous 1970 C-10 Chevy Pick-up over to Australia to be modified at the event.
“We had to come back,” he said.
“We genuinely fell in love with the cars, the culture, the people and the simple fact is this time we want to do a burnout Aussie style.”
Street Outlaws will also film an episode at the event.
The annual Street Machine Summernats festival is four days of automotive action at Canberra’s Exhibition Park from January 4 to 7.
Summernats co-owner Andy Lopez said the event attracted more than 100,000 people and 2,000 entrants that descend on Canberra.
“We’re really excited to have huge US stars like Farmtruck and Azn plus 1320Video return to Canberra for Summernats,” he said.
“Not only will these huge shows expose the event to millions of new people worldwide through their respective audiences, but it shows that we have a world class festival here and the entire Australian automotive community should be very proud of that.”
The festival will also feature the National Burnout Masters, the Summernats Grand Champion, and a massive music line-up including Wolfmother, Thundamentals and 28 Days.
