St George police have charged a store employee with stealing electronic and tech equipment, valued at $60,000, over a period of 10 months.

The man, 35, was an employee of a wholesale company when he allegedly stole the goods.
A police spokesman said the items included digital cameras, torches, drones, camera tripods, rifle scopes binoculars and computer accessories.
The alleged thefts took place from January to October this year.
“It’s alleged he sold the stolen items to second-hand dealers throughout the Sydney metropolitan area,” the spokesman said.
“After receiving a complaint, officers from St George Proactive Crime Team commenced an investigation that culminated in the arrest of the man at Kogarah Police Station on Monday.”
The man was charged with a total of 39 offences, including stealing property as an employee, making / furnishing false statements and receiving / disposing of stolen property.
He was given conditional bail and will is due to appear in Sutherland Local Court on December 19.
