The exhibition will be in Hazelhurst’s Broadhurst Gallery and will run from November 25 to December 5.
International Day of People with Disability is a United Nations sanctions day that is celebrated internationally and aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrates their achievements and contributions.
Hazelhurst has specially programmed the exhibition to contribute to this day to promote work by artists with special needs.
Across the whole exhibition there will be a total of 53 works in sculpture, collage, photography, painting, song and video.
Called Songs of the City the exhibition brings together a series of works created by students of Woniora Road School.
The works look at young people's relationship with the city and have been realised in a range of media including drawing, collage, photography video and song.
The artworks have been created with resident artists Howard Matthew and Michael Moebus alongside school art teacher Dushan Mrva-Montoya.
