The Sutherland PCYC Mini Bike Club held its annual Pony Express earlier this month.
The event is similar to enduro racing except that riders participate in a two-person team. There are two events, one for the 50cc and mini wheels categories and another for the 65 and 85cc riders on a separate track.
Jack Nelson and Ewan Moorcroft took out the 65 and 85cc class from Max DeCelis and Nathan Horvath. Hayden Kulibab and Seth Gray finished third.
In the 50cc and mini wheel class, Noah Mercieca and Lucas Jones won the day with Kayla Kulibab and Harry Ceely second. Ritchie Lawler and James Kulukovoski finished third.
The Rider Training Section of Sutherland PCYC is dedicated to coaching children in the skills of motorcycling in a safe, legal and controlled environment. The club have about 140 members aged between 4 and 16-years-old.
