As the name suggests, it is a venue where you can expect a great choice of seafood delivered fresh daily from the Sydney Fish Markets.
But restaurateur George Andreou, who has been at the helm since the start, ensures there is something on the menu to appeal to all tastes and not just seafood lovers.
His passion for fresh, seasonal food has not wavered since he opened the doors to his first diners.
Starting with classic dishes in the early 1990’s, the menu has evolved over the years and the kitchen now produces technical, fine-dining modern Australian cuisine to rival the best in the city.
Simple yet refined; the dishes hero the market fresh seafood delivered daily.
Entree choices include octopus carpaccio, three way sashimi, Sydney rock oysters, tempura zucchini flowers or smoked salmon terrine.
Main dishes include grilled John Dory fillets, oven-grilled whole baby snapper, grilled Tasmanian salmon fillet and battered sand whiting fillets.
If these choices prove to be a hard decision, their signature ‘Hot and Cold Seafood Platter’ will reel you in.
An extensive wine list adds to the dining experience.
With the mains out of the way you can tuck into a tempting desserts selection including a honeycomb and marshmallow ice cream sandwich with wild berry coulis and poached pear with frangipane and and honey mascarpone, Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee with raspberry sorbet.
The award-winning restaurant is a picturesque waterfront site which has parking for your car or mooring for your boat.
It has floor to ceiling windows so that you can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Georges River.
If going by car, it is 25 minutes from Cronulla and about 26 minutes from Kogarah.
It's an ideal destination where you can enjoy lunch or dinner with friends and colleagues or a romantic dinner for two. It is also perfect for weddings, birthdays and business functions.
When founders Andreou and Spiro Cardamis went for lunch at the location 25 years ago they instantly fell in love with the restaurant and bought it that very same day.
