IN LOVE: Fay and John Mulcahy are celebrating 60 years of marriage this month.
Shire couple Fay and John Mulcahy will celebrate 60 years of marriage on Thursday, May 24.
Daughter Katrina Mulcahy said her parents “found love in 1955” when they met at the Albeit Pallas dance hall at Leichhardt and married on May 2, 1958 at Five Dock Methodist Church.

“Dad built all four homes they lived in, starting with a single garage at Engadine, progressing to a house at Engadine and Gymea Bay, and finally Cronulla,’’ Ms Mulcahy said.
“Their lives have been full of joy, laughter, good friendships and travel adventures.
“They adore each other, value their marriage and love their two children as well as their partners and their six beautiful grandchildren.”
