Members of the Georges River community are invited to enjoy a stylish night out while helping to raise funds for Hurstville Rotary's 'Kids at Play' project at the Councillors’ Charity Ball 2018 on Friday, July 27 at the Marana Auditorium.
Kicking off from 6.30pm, the night promises to be a fun and lively event, with tickets including drinks, a delicious three-course dinner, live entertainment from John Field Band and tenor, Lorenzo Rositano, as well as raffles and a charity auction.
Georges River Council Mayor Kevin Greene said that the event is a unique opportunity to get together with friends and family for a great evening out, all while supporting a community focused cause.
“The 'Kids at Play' garden project aims to bring fun and laughter to sick children in our local hospital by refurbishing the existing indoor and outdoor play areas, and creating a happy garden.
“The garden will create a sanctuary where families can relax together, as well as provide much needed respite for kids.
“Hurstville Rotary relies solely on the wider community’s generosity to keep up its activities. This charity ball is your opportunity to help sick children and their families.
“Please join me to support this wonderful project and be part of helping Hurstville Rotary achieve its vision for ‘Kids at Play’,” he said.
