Applications are now being accepted for more than 120 jobs available at the new Bunnings Warehouse Caringbah store which is scheduled to open in November.
Bunnings Warehouse Caringbah complex manager, Emily Sakalis, said the new store represents strong employment opportunities for Sutherland Shire residents and school leavers.
‘‘Bunnings provides a wide range of meaningful career development options for all team members,’’ Ms Sakalis said.
‘‘We are looking for new recruits from all backgrounds and levels of experience, people who are self-motivated, determined and looking to grow their own personal and career development.
‘‘All Bunnings Warehouse Caringbah team members will be offered on the job training and given the opportunity to further their careers.”
Ms Sakalis said Bunnings provided great employment opportunities for anyone who is passionate about home improvement and D.I.Y.
‘‘We also welcome applications from qualified tradespeople who can bring their expert knowledge to the job while taking a new career direction,’’ she said.
Ms Sakalis started her career at Bunnings 14 years ago and has previously held positions at stores across NSW.
‘‘I was the complex manager for the old Caringbah Warehouse, and am excited about looking after this bigger and better store,’’ she said.
‘‘The Bunnings culture is positive and supportive and we strive to bring an element of fun to every day. This is something I’ve always valued.’’
A grand opening for the new Bunnings Warehouse Caringbah store, at Koonya Circuit, is planned for later this year with the local community invited to attend.
Applications for permanent, casual and part-time team member positions are now open.
