Desperate search for boy
A huge than you to all those wonderful people at Caringbah Village on Sunday, August 5, who helped me find a lost 3-year-old boy.
Clearly my distress alerted a number of very kind members of our community who offered to help in my desperate search, and he was found safe and well only a short time later.
I cannot express how much I appreciated your efforts and concern and please know I would have done the same for anyone else.
Alison, Caringbah
Ambo called after fall
I wish to thank the lady who interrupted her journey to come to my assistance after I tripped over a small concrete slab on the footpath and fell heavily on King Georges Road, Roselands, on Friday morning, June 15.
This kind lady arranged for an ambulance and cared for me until the ambulance arrived.
It is gratifying to know that people like her still exist and I want her to know how much I appreciated her actions.
I would also like to thank the paramedics, Andrew and Louise, and the doctors and nurses at St George Public Hospital.

There’s hope for humanity
On Friday evening, July 27, I slipped and fell heavily while crossing Carwar Avenue at Carss Park.
Two gentlemen and a lady came to my rescue and were extremely kind.
Unfortunately, in such circumstances names are not often obtained.
I just hope they read this letter and realise how grateful I am for their assistance and kindness. It makes one realise humanity still gives help when needed.

Coffee kindness
I’d like to a young lady who didn’t think twice when I embarrassingly found myself without my PayPass card at a Kogarah cafe. Bronwyn stepped in a paid for my coffee and simply suggested “pay it forward”. Bronwyn you’re a gem.
