Police have appealed for public assistance to a Beverly Hills shooting they say was targeted.
Yesterday morning on Hampden Street a man was shot in the thigh.
He was taken to St George Hospital for surgery and is in a stable condition.
Initial inquiries suggest the injured man was at a pizza shop on the corner of Edgebaston and King Georges Road, when he was approached by another man.
Witnesses told police the pair were arguing before leaving together in a dark-coloured Nissan Dualis.
A short time later the 31-year-old man was found alone and injured.
The man is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance and with a solid build.
Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is urged to come forward.
