Proudly politically incorrect Aussie comedian Kevin Bloody Wilson is hitting the road on his latest tour and will stop by the Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL to share some laughs.
Wilson’s Almost Awesome tour arrives on Friday, September 7 at 8.30pm and the show promises to be filled with hilarity.
He’ll perform his some of his most popular comedy tunes including D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F, I Knew the Bride (When She Used to be a Mole) and Living Next Door to Alan – and many other expletive-laden hits.
Wilson warns audiences to prepare for the unexpected.
“There will be lots of full frontal nudity from he,” he joked. “The show revolves on its own axis, I never know night from night what is going in the show.”
Wilson said a lot of ad-lib goes on in his shows and he makes no apologies for his take no prisoners approach to the PC brigade.
“Political correctness is f***ed,” he said. “If we want to get on with the job of cleaning up the world or Australia, the best thing we can do is go on and declare war on political correctness.”
Always a larrikin, Wilson started off his comedic journey recording songs for his mates which were penned about his experiences working in the mines in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
In the early 1980s, he put together a tape called Your Average Australian Yobbo and started selling it.
He has never looked back.
