A woman has been cleared of manslaughter over the death of her partner at his Brighton-Le-Sands home this year after police withdrew the charges.
Jade Walker, 31, sister of Manly Sea Eagles player Dylan Walker, was charged over the death of Gilbert Caetano at his General Holmes Drive home on May 20.
The 51-year-old father was found unconscious by police inside the property he shared with his parents at 1.10am.
Police said they were responding to an alleged "domestic violence-related incident" and that officers and then paramedics attempted first aid, however Mr Caetano died at the scene.
Ms Walker was arrested at the home, and was charged with manslaughter and aggravated entry into a dwelling.
The following week, she was bailed by a magistrate on strict conditions and a $4000 surety.
On Tuesday, Downing Centre Deputy Chief Magistrate Michael Allen dismissed the case against Ms Walker after police withdrew the charges.
