King Georges Road between Stoney Creek Road, Beverly Hills, and Forest Road, Hurstville, will be widened to three lanes in each direction under plans released for public comment.
Right turn movements in and out of Dudley Street, George Street, Clarence Street and Percival Street will be prevented.
Roads and Maritime (RMS) said the project would include a concrete median on the section of widened road.
Other work would include relocating street lighting, kerbs and drainage, road resurfacing, line marking, some tree removal, trimming and landscaping.”
Concept designs can be viewed on the RMS website, with comment invited up until 5pm on Sunday, October 21,.
RMS said community feedback would be considered and responded to in a consultation report that would be made available online.
